What a Legislative Leader does:
- Can express his/her ideas to Congress on ideas that they think should be laws
- Set forth ideas about what America's foreign policy should be
- They talk about all the problems and ideas for solving problems (i.e. taxes, day care and pollution)
- Sets domestic policy plans for dealing with national problems
- Talks to congress to get bills he want to laws
- Talks to interest groups to get support on his bill
- They have to create a budget
- Create ways raise money & spend money
A Legislative Leader proposes legislation, prepares a federal budget, and approves or veto's legislation.
